First Time Teaching

This was my first time teaching, and I was hoping that I would be up to par with the various steps and procedures that we needed to do. Although I had missed the first day of class, when everyone had originally done their first teaching session, I felt like the practice we got in class the last couple of times would really help me with my teaching. I was pretty excited, and wanted to make sure that I was doing everything the correct way. I thought that I spoke very clearly, and loudly, and thought that I was able to provide good examples, and cues for everyone to use. I think that the one thing I really need to work on, is making sure that I dont use the term guys, when adressing the entire class. Also I think I need to make sure that I am very specific when giving directions to the students. Other than that I really enjoyed my first time teaching in this class, and was pretty happy with how I did.
